GRAND MASTER LILIT MKRTCHIAN FROM YEREVAN TO COMPETE WITH U.S CHAMPION IRINA KRUSH IN CHICAGO

CHICAGO, MARCH 31, NOYAN TAPAN. Four times Armenian champion and
multiple prize-winner of Europe Lilit Mkrtchian will compete with
U.S. champion Irina Krush from March 31 to April 3 in the city of
Chicago, U.S. The competition was organized by the North American
Chess Association headed by Sevan Muradian. The competitors will
play four games of classical chess. Krush's index is higher, 2473,
on the world classification list and Mkrtchian's index is 2405.
