Azerbaijan, Baku, Jan. 8 / Trend News, R.Novruzov / The OSCE will
develop a report on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The report will be composed after a special visit of OSCE Parliamentary
Assembly representative Goran Lenmarker to the region on Feb. 9-10,
Senior Advisor of the Swiss Parliament's International Department
Enn-Sophi Lindenbaum told Trend News over the telephone from Stockholm
    on Jan. 8.

The key goal of his visit to Azerbaijan is to discuss development
issues in the South Caucasus and problems with resolving the
    Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Lindenbaum said.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988
when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian armed
forces have occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan since 1992, including
the Nagorno-Karabakh region and 7 surrounding districts. Azerbaijan
and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of
the OSCE Minsk Group - Russia, France, and the U.S. - are currently
    holding the peace negotiations.

Lenmarker plans to hold meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham
Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
