On July 31 President Serzh Sargsyan participated in the unofficial
summit of the Heads of CSTO member states. The meeting brought together
the Presidents of Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan,
    Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

During the summit at the Rukh Ordo ethno-graphic center the CSTO
leaders exchanged views on urgent issues of international security and
discussed questions connected with information policy.

During a press conference following the informal summit, Kyrgyz
President Kurmanbek Bakiev said an open and constructive conversation
had been launched on the security over CSTO area, particularly issues
of fighting religious radicalism and terrorism.

The CSTO leaders stressed the necessity to conduct a coordinated
information policy. They also agreed to establish a youth center on the
    shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.

At the end of the non-official summit President Bakiev of Kyrgyzstan
gave an official dinner in honor of the CSTO leaders.

President Serzh Sargsyan will leave Kyrgyzstan for the Orenburg region
of Russia to attend the solemn ceremony of opening of the `National
Village' Armenian cultural complex. President Sargsyan will lay a
wreath at the memorial to great Armenian poet Vahan Teryan and will
meet representatives of the Armenian community.
