The state of Azerbaijan guarantees security of Armenian representatives
to participate at the Eurovision 2012, Minister of Youth and Sports
Azad Rahimov told journalists, APA reports.

However, previous practice proves Azeri assurances of security
provisions to be no more than words. In past, Baku has repeatedly
stated that Armenian participants of sports, cultural and social
events are safe in Azerbaijan, yet, at the last minute, the country
was unable to guarantee their safety.

Armenia hasn't yet decided as to its participation in Eurovision 2012
    Song Contest.

Azerbaijan has won this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Germany,
which means next year's songfest will be hosted in Baku. ldar Gasimov
and Nigar Jamal of Ell/Nikki were voted winners, after scoring 221
points with their love song, Running Scared.
