    ARMENIA SEEKS TO END NEGOTIATIONS ON A DEEP AND COMPREHENSIVE FREE TRADE AREA WITH EU AHEAD OF TIME

    YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Government plans to complete
    negotiations on a deep and comprehensive free trade area with EU by
    2013. As Armenpress reports, PM Tigran Sargsyan came forth in the
    course of presentation 2013 state budget draft.

    "We have a goal to finish EU negotiations all six stages by 2013 and
    record that the commitments undertaken within its frame are completed
    regardless the formal commitments assume we may end the negotiation
    process by 2014".

    The negations are sketching reforms in food security, in the areas
    of tax and customs, intellectual property and judicial spheres.

    Particularly it is planned to invest food security monitoring system
    meet European best standards. Relevant laboratories and methodology
    should be implemented.

    It is scheduled to improve the judicial practice, particularly in
    consideration of economic disputes. Customs sector is also set to be
    developed under the light of EU best standards. In particular green
    track mode will be invested, invoice prices will be regulated.
