ARMENIA AND ARTSAKH ARE ONE UNITARY AREA, AND THIS IS UNDENIABLE: EDUARD SHARMAZANOV

    17:51, 30 May, 2014

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS. It is a fact that the Republic of Armenia
and the three founder countries of the Eurasian Economic Union have
come to an agreement that until the end of June Armenia will join the
Union. The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov
stated this in a conversation with the journalists in the National
Assembly. "A few issues of technical nature have remained which have
no connection with the borders and deal with only the importation
and exportation," Eduard Sharmazanov said as reported by Armenpress.

Reacting on Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Eduard Sharmazanov underscored
that both the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union do not
and cannot resolve issues regarding borders since they do not have
such authority. Thus, speaking about the borders and connecting it
with the Customs Union or the Eurasian Economic Union is redundant.

Eduard Sharmazanov highlighted that it is clear to everyone that
the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh are
one unitary area. "The Republic of Armenia and the Republic of
Nagorno-Karabakh are one unitary area. It is so and will remain so,
this is undeniable," the vice-speaker of the National Assembly said.
