    Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his Armenian counterpart Serge
    Sargsyan have begun talks in the Kremlin.

    After a meeting in a narrow format, the two leaders will continue
    talks with the participation of members of the delegations and tell
    about the their results at press conferences. The presidents are
    expected sign a joint statement of the heads of state that "covers
    a wide range of issues of Russian-Armenian relations."

    Medvedev and Sargsyan, who took up the highest state posts in the
    current year with a difference of one month, had already met twice. The
    Armenian president came to Moscow in late March and to St. Petersburg
    in early June for an informal CIS summit. At that time, the Russian
    leader invited him to come again for an official visit.
