COURT'S DECISION IS A REASON TO PERFORM A SHOW

Process of normalisation of Armenia-Turkey relations has been fastened
down because of Ankara, said Director of Armenian Center for National
    and Strategic Studies Richard Girakosian.

He says Armenian Constitutional Court's decision is a reason for
Turkey to 'perform' a show to test Armenia's opportunities for
diplomacy. Richard Girakosian pointed that Turkey's government had
responded to the Court's decision only after 6 days.

"Only after 6 days Turkey tried to create a political reason to back
out of process of ratification and blame Armenia for failure of the
process," he said adding that Turkish officials' visits to the U.S.

and Russia have a key objective to make the international community
change its opinion. However, they didn't manage to success, said
    Girakosian.

"Turkey's government tried to get the U.S. and Russia's backing,
when it had linked Armenia-Turkey reconciliation with settlement to
the Karabakh conflict; however, they were refused.

"Both Russia and the U.S. one more time reminded that the
Armenia-Turkey protocols must be ratified in a reasonable time. So,
now the superpowers are waiting for Turkey, not Armenia."
