February 24, the newly appointed Algerian Ambassador to Armenia Smail
Chergui (residence-Moscow) presented his credentials to RA Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian.
RA Foreign Minister put emphasis on the development of Armenia-Algeria
relations, expressing hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will
contribute to it, Foreign office press service informed NEWS.am.
The officials made a point of forming contractual underpinnings
between the states, as well as the steps towards the economic and
cultural cooperation enhancement.
Nalbandian and Chergui also referred to Armenia-Algeria collaboration
within international organizations and exchanged views on a number
of regional and international issues.
