New details in Hrant Dink's case

    May 04, 2011 | 16:48

Turkish Prime Minsiter Recep Tayyip Erdogan allowed launching an
investigation into the killing of Hrant Dink, chief editor of
    Armenian-Turkish Agos daily.

An investigation was launched against two employees of national
security service, Turkish Radikal newspaper reported.

The prosecutor's office of Ankara appealed for permission last year
    but received it only now.

A week prior to his death Hrant Dink wrote that he was invited to
Istanbul administration on February 4, 2004 where a man and a woman
    threatened him.

Reason for threats was one of Dink's publications saying Sabiha
Gercen, daughter adopted by Ataturk, was Armenian. One of those
threatening Hrant Dink was Ozel Yilmaz, employee of Turkish
    intelligence agency.
