    TURKISH MINISTER DISCUSSES KARABAKH IN MOSCOW

    Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has met his Russian
    counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, in Moscow.

    The Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh was one of
    a number of issues discussed during the meeting, APA reports.

    Other topics of discussion were bilateral relations, the situation
    in the Middle East, Iran and Syria, cooperation with the Black Sea
    Economic Cooperation Organization and joint measures to combat terror.

    Both countries decided to increase their efforts towards the solution
    of these problems and signed a final declaration at the end of the
    meeting.

    Sergey Lavrov underlined the high-level of dialogue and mutual
    relations between Russia and Turkey in many spheres and highly assessed
    the activity of the Turkish-Russian strategic planning group.

    Ahmet Davutoglu said that the establishment of Russian-Turkish
    strategic alliance and the work of the strategic planning group had
    special significance in the history of relations of the two countries.

    Davutoglu is paying a one-day visit to Moscow on 25 January to attend
    the meeting of the Turkish-Russian Joint Strategic Planning Group.
