    SOCIOLOGIST: BAKO SAHAKYAN CAN ALREADY BE CONSIDERED UNDISPUTABLE WINNER IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS OF KARABAKH

    27.5% out of 32% of the voters, who will go to the polls in
    Nagorno-Karabakh by all means, are going to vote for the incumbent
    President Bako Sahakyan, Head of the Sociometer Center Aharon Adibekyan
    said at today's press conference.

    He said that the key rival of Sahakyan during the July 19 presidential
    elections is Vitaly Balasanyan, a hero of the Artsakh war: 3% of the
    voters are ready to vote for Balasanyan. Adibekyan said that even the
    poor population and the pensioners of the NKR are ready to vote for
    Sahakyan. "There is no social or age group which will unambiguously
    give their votes to Balasanyan.

    The sociologist added that the youth of Karabakh are going to vote
    for Arkady Soghomonyan, Assistant Principal of the Stepanakert branch
    of the Armenian State Agrarian University, who has promised to make
    the education in Karabakh free in case he is elected president.

    To recall, the presidential election in Karabakh is scheduled for July
    19. The election campaign started on June 20 and will last till July
    17. The Central Electoral Commission of the NKR has registered all the
    four candidates: Bako Sahakyan, the incumbent president of the NKR,
    Vitaly Balasanyan, member of the NKR Parliament, Arkady Soghomonyan,
    Assistant Principal of the Stepanakert branch of the Armenian State
    Agrarian University, and Valery Khachatryan, the ex-head of the
    Administration Department of the NKR Parliament.
