The Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America New York-New Jersey
Section participate at ArmTech Congress in New York City

(New York, NY) - The Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America
(AESA), New York-New Jersey section participated at the ArmTech
Congress on September 26 which was held at TKP Conference in New York
City. ArmTech is a nonprofit global network and recurring event
officially adopted by the Republic of Armenia as its global high-tech
industry platform. Conceived under the theme of `learning from the
past and inventing the future' and held under the patronage of the
Prime Minister of Armenia, it is dedicated to further the success of
    Armenia's high-tech industry in a dynamic global free-market economy.

AESA was represented by its New York New Jersey Section President Aram
Setian, Vice President Hovhannes Mardirossian, and Treasurer David
Michaelian. This year ArmTech Congress attracted an outstanding group
of industry professionals, high-level executives and interested
parties from all over the world who got together to improve
communications and cooperation with and within the Armenian high-tech
industry. The event focused on Armenia's current and future successful
participation in a dynamic global economy with emphasis on its
high-tech industry and related businesses. During the Congress, the
AESA delegation had the opportunity to meet with the President of
Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Eduard Nalbandyan and John A. Heffern, Ambassador to the Republic of
Armenia. They briefed the President on AESA's upcoming programs; such
as the Rutgers University and Yerevan State University collaboration
project and the lectures to be conducted in Yerevan by AESA members,
Vahan Tanal and David Michaelian. President Sargsyan expressed
appreciation for AESA's efforts towards Armenia.

`We are very proud of our `Ambassadors' who had a great opportunity to
obtain business and professional information and to connect with top
industry representatives, government officials and major players in
the financial and services sectors from Armenia, United States,
Russia, European Union and CIS countries at this Congress' said AESA
President Vasken Yardemian. `We congratulate NY-NJ Section President
Aram Setian, Vice President Hovhannes Mardirossian, and Treasurer
David Michaelian for taking the time to attend this event representing
    our organization'.
