New escalations are expected in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Expert

Head of Yerevan geopolitical club Arman Boshyan claims that a new wave
of tension in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations is expected. "If we
follow the statements by the Minsk Group co-chairs, US and Russian
officials, we would see that the situation would once again be
escalated. In other words, the West will do everything for Aliyev to
attack one more time, because Aliyev is facing an alternative, either
you are inciting a war, or you're going to have a Maidan," said Arman

saying why we did not choose the West, but the West has never offered
us a membership to the European Union. If we had refused the EaEU, we
would have appeared in an economic isolation, because currently we are
in isolation with our positioning, war situation, and relations with
Turkey. Armenia is a small country, but has an impact on the entire
Eurasian area by the right of veto, we can block, for example,
Azerbaijan, in other words, we obtain a legal effect being a member of
this Union. Well, should the European Union offer a membership by veto
rights, and we are a very important area, we could become, in this
case one could think, an EaEU or a European Union".
