YEEVAN, FEBRUARY 4, NOYAN TAPAN. The undue expressions voiced by
some people lately in the rally speeches, who are engaged in demagogy
and deceiving people, have caused a serious anxiety and indignation
among freedom-fighters, in particular, the veterans of the Special
Regiment. This was mentioned in the February 2 statement of the
Veterans of Special Regiment NGO.

"Without rhyme of reason Vazgen Sargsian's name is also speculated,
worthless expressions addressed to his family are voiced. We mean you,
presidential candidate, Mr Artashes Geghamian, you, who is able to rise
by flouting national values, by throwing mud at others. It should be
mentioned that the Sparapet of the winning country and army, Vazgen
Sargsian, whose immortal memory you wish to humiliate and thanks to
whose invaluable efforts today the nation thinks of not waging a war,
of being liberated, but of development, well-being, has a glorious
fighting past. Finally, casting doubt or flouting spiritual values
is not an act pleasing the God. Do yoy imagine this way leading,
consolidating the people? In this way you can only split them,"
the statement's authors mention.

According to the Special Regiment's veterans, ideas and principles
should be opposed, but the national and people's should remain
inviolable as a relic.

They call all political forces and individuals for being reasonable
and honest, not making an attempt to disrepute dignity of people's
devotees in their speeches.
