HIS HOLINESS RECEIVED THE DIRECTORS OF "WORLD VISION" AND "GOSPEL LIGHT"

The directors of "World Vision" and "Gospel Light", Jim Morgenroth and Perry
Menfield, as well as the director of the religious-humanitarian
organizations' Lebanese Bureau, Ziad Abi Abdallah, visited His Holiness Aram
I in Bikfaya on August 10.

The directors presented to His Holiness the new volume of the "God with us"
religious textbook series, which is published in cooperation with the
Catholicosate of Cilicia and by the approval of the Pontiff.

The Armenian Spiritual Leader and his guests discussed future plans
regarding the publication of textbooks both at the level of the
Catholicosate and its Dioceses. His Holiness explained his thoughts on
making the textbook series easily usable by Armenian students living in
different countries on the basis of the linguistic specificities of each
    community.

The editor of the Armenian volumes, V. Rev. Krikor Chiftjian, also attended
the meeting. Miss Vehan Etyemezian represented the Armenian Prelacy of
    Lebanon at the meeting.

Four volumes and their corresponding teachers' guides have thus been
published. The fifth volume, prepared for 14-year-old schoolchildren, is
    currently under publication.
