A FUNCTIONARY DISMISSED FROM ONE OF THE JEWS ORGANIZATIONS OF THE USA FOR RECOGNITION OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

A one of the biggest Jewish organizations of the USA Anti-Defamation
League has dismissed the responsible representative on New England
Andrew Tarsy.
As American office of the Azerbaijani APA news agency reports,
Tarsy's statement on recognition of the 'Armenian genocide' became the
reason of his dismissal. They said in the Anti-Defamation League that
they don't deny the victims of the both sides during the events of
1915. At the same time they said that if US Congress recognizes the
Armenian genocide, this will make difficult historical research in
Turkey. This Jewish organization thinks that taking such a decision
will damage Jewish community of Turkey and will make normalizing of
the relations with Armenia impossible.
