CATHOLICOS RECEIVES OLYMPIANS FROM ARGENTINA

Today Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II received the group
of athletes from Argentina, led by Armando Diradurian, which is in
Armenia to participate in the 4th International Armenian Olympics.
Welcoming those present, the Catholicos stressed the importance of the
games in strengthening the ties between Armenia and the Diaspora. In
his words, "This is a wonderful opportunity for Diaspora youth
to visit the Motherland and learn about our merits as well as our
everyday problems, thus taking part in the strengthening and flowering
of Armenia."
