IRAN'S PRESIDENT DUE IN AZERBAIJAN

BAKU, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS: Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is
starting an official two-day visit to Azerbaijan on August 21 in a
bid to boost bilateral ties.
President Ahmadinejad is scheduled to meet and confer with his
Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, in Baku, on Wednesday.
The visit is taking place at the invitation of Aliyev. President
Ahmadinejad is expected to discuss bilateral relations as well as
regional and international developments with Aliyev.
Several agreements are scheduled to be signed between the two sides,
during the two-day visit.
Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev paid a visit to Iran in 2005.
