'Unity for Self-determination' oppositional party will take part
in the forthcoming 2008 presidential election if a common team of
democratic forces is formed, leader of this party Paruyr Hairikyan
said at today's press-conference.
He is sure that a presidential contender should be a representative
of a definite team and his victory at the election will be that of
the whole team. P. Hairikyan thinks that the number of participants
will grow at the following meetings, however, this is the case when
the number is of no importance. The key is to achieve specific results
as consequence of negotiations.
