ALEXANDR MANASYAN "INSTIGATOR" OFFERING AND POSITIONING

"The political and economic powers are combined into the same parts,"
said politician Alexandr Manasyan in a meeting with the journalists,
today. He added that in the result of the above mentioned situation
the Parliament became "an economic parliament" or "a business club".
According to him in western countries the political power depends on
the economic one, and the latter tries to solve its problems through
lobbing. He said that as those two powers are concentrated in the same
hands Armenia faces problems during the elections: if the political
power changes then the economic one is changed with it. That means
the resources and other means must be redefined. According to the
scientist such policy is very dangerous for the country itself,
for its economic and democratic development.
A. Manasyan made an "instigating" offer: to found an economic
parliament, where the voice of each deputy businessmen will have as
much power, as his taxes paid to the customer department. He also
added that this economic parliament will not have political power in
order to escape the oligarchic stratums.
He also mentioned the importance of having strong sections in
the population with its demands and awareness; he continued that
journalists have their own responsibilities, too.
