DO BIG FAMILIES NEED HOUSES?

According to the minister of social security Narine Azatyan, from
January 1 the program of stimulation of birthrate will be revised. The
parents will get 500 thousand drams on the birth of the third child,
another 500 thousand drams will be deposited. On the birth of the
fourth child the one-time aid will mount to 700 thousand.
During the discussion of the budget bill at the National Assembly
the construction of houses for big families was discussed.
Member of Parliament Benik Bakhshiyan said the houses built for
families having 6 and more children are either ruined because they
do not live there or are destroyed by the owners to sell the building
materials and support their family. Benik Bakhshiyan offered to build
a house in case the family needs one, since the houses are small and
the family cannot live in two houses at the same time.

be right to change the government policy because those are separate
cases. She also promised to study the facts.
It is not a secret that the houses do not comply with building
regulations.
Most families have lodged complaints with the government.
