As we know , by establishment of free market economy the collect.
farms were liquidated and their property; technical park, animals,
land were shared between the members.But some of them changing the
status a little (village collect. farms) preserved the status till
1998, but till now noone of them existed in the republic.The exclusion
was the village coll. farm of the v. Sos (Martouni prov.)which became
closed joint stock company in the name of Sos Gasparyan.
How the company not only preserved, but also became advanced farm. We
discussedthese questions with the head of the company Oleg Grigoryan.
After the liquidation of coll. farm, he proposed not to share but to
unite again and to overcome the difficulties with joint efforts.
The company has 200 ha privatised and 190 ha rented sowing land and
the main it has the own technics. Those who united make up 1/3 of
the population of the village. The company proved to be viable for
last 10 years, it's competative and profitable. The selected part of
the harvest are for semen. The people are laborous, the efforts are
grouped. What's necessary for success. He affirms that the highest
wheat harvest is got by their company. It's about 25 centners, even
if the year not fertile. He affirms if the coll. farms were not
liquidated, the agriculture would prosper.
The farm is not indebted to the state Why all the coll. farms were
liquidated so quickly. He says that the answer is clear. All the
coll. farms had debts, they were the results the credit given by the
state. And they were insolvent further to return them. But coll. farm
of Sos could avoid the bankruptcy, our head feeling the danger of
high percent cresdits, he adviced them not to be seduced by it. As
a result our company had no any debt to the state, on the contrary,
other coll. farms indebted to us which did not return them because
of the bankruptcy.
Agroproducts working out industry is the guarantee for successful
development of the agriculture What are the tendencies for growth
and how is the harvest realisation program solved? The head of
the company finds that if the realisation would not be by forced
prices, but profitably, we can hope for enlarging our activity and
the realisation of the products is the weak link which can not be
regulated,it can be done only partially. It would be better there are
a lot of enterprises in Artsakh where we could realise the harvest
without difficulty. The proffesional expert finds that the working
out industry is the basis of guarantee and success.

number of the members of the company does not increase, when the
members are solvent and satisfied with the work?
In reality the other villagers who got their share, they sold it
earlier. Without accepting their share in "general pot" means to feed

in the village who could compete with the company? Such farms exist,
but they are less. It's the farms which at first got fertile land,
