ON MONDAY GYUMRI MAYOR'S OFFICE TO ANNOUNCE AMOUNT OF MONTLY PAYMENT
FOR "GALA" TV COMPANY
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 15, NOYAN TAPAN. The hearing of the lawsuit filed by
the Gyumri tax inspection of the RA State Tax Service against "Chap"
LLC - the founder of "Gala" TV company will start at the Gyumri court
of the RA Economic Court on December 17, at 11 a.m. NT was informed by
the headquarters on protection of speech freedom and "Gala" television
company that the plaintiff asks that 26 million drams be confiscated
from "Chap" LLC, which, in the opinion of the public, is an incorrect
sum from the legal and accounting viewpoint. A counter-suit will be
submitted at the hearing.
It is expected that on Dedember 17 Gyumri mayor's office will announce
the amount of the monthly payment (past and future) for the use of the
television tower. To recap, on December 13 the mayor of Gyumri Vardan
Ghukasian received on his own initiative a group of representatives of
the public who came to the mayor's office to inform them about the
rally scheduled for December 19. During the meeting with the mayor, the
chairman of "Asparez" journalistic club Levon Barseghian proposed that
a tripartite agreement be signed between him, the mayor's office and
"Chap" LLC, by which L. Barseghian is obliged to pay a reasonable
amount of the past debt, while the mayor's office was proposed to give
up its decision to solve the problem in court and to rent the
television tower to "Gala" for a reasonable payment.
