AMBASSADOR OF IRAN TO RA PAYS VISIT TO MOTHER SEE OF HOLY ETCHMIADZIN

ETCHMIADZIN, DECEMBER 19, NOYAN TAPAN. Catholicos of All Armenians
Karekin II, on December 19, received Alireza Haghighian, the Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia, who has finished
his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
His Holiness the Patriarch expressed satisfaction that relations
between the two countries develop in all spheres. The Catholicos also
emphasized the Iranian Embassy's role in it and expressed gratitude
to the Ambassador on that occasion for his contribution and efficient
service to the Armenian people.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the Information Services of the Mother
See of Holy Etchmiadzin, they spoke about the two peoples' historic
and cultural ties, current good-neighborly relations, and economic
cooperation during the meeting.
