PROSPEROUS ARMENIA TO SUPPORT SERGE SARGSYAN

Prosperous Armenia Party stated today that during the presidential
elections of February 19, 2008, it will support the Prime Minister,
the Chairman of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serge Sargsyan,
reads the statement approved today in Yerevan following the extended
session of the Political Council of the Prosperous Armenia Party.
The documents notes that the decision on supporting Serge Sargsyan
is based on the coalitional agreement, signed with the Republican
Party of Armenia signed after the parliamentary elections of 2007,
as well as "mutual respect and trust."
"We are sure that our single candidate will in the best way solve the
problems Armenia faces, and will be able to maintain the political
stability", the statement reads.
