FIFTH BOOK ABOUT CAPELLA

"So far 4 books have been written about Capella's work but I did not
hesitate. It is a reflection of his 46 years of work and is dedicated
to the 70th anniversary of the band," Anna Asatryan, the author of
"Armenian state academic band" and the vice director of Art Institute,
told a news conference today.
In her words, the book is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the
Armenian state-academic band and is a brief review of the band. In
the words of Maestro Hovanes Chekijan, the book is the best gift on
the anniversary of the band. "It was very interesting to write a book
about Capella since the maestro has created wide opportunities for
the studies," Asatryan said.
The presentation of the book will take place on December 23 at the
Concert Hall after Aram Khachatryan. The day is also 80th birthday
of Maestro Chekijyan.
