December 20 Georgian frontier guards arrested six Armenian citizens
at Sarpi checkpoint, who were trying to leave Georgia with others'
passports.
Press Service of the Frontier Police of Georgia reported that the
detained were trying to cross the Georgian-Turkish border, when
the frontier guards were shifting the duty. But their attempt was
prevented.
The false passports have been confiscated. A criminal case has been
launched. Preliminary investigation is underway.
