The RA State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition
continues monitoring market prices of consumer goods. Taking into
consideration the dram revaluation and rice in prices on the eve
of New Year, the commission had warned economic entities to avoid
noncompetitive bargains, abuse of monopoly and unjustified rise
in prices.
In the main the monitoring covers trade centres and supermarkets.
No rise in prices has been fixed at markets. Only banana price has gone
up by 200-300 drams.The monitoring will last till January 15, 2008.
