CROSSROADS OPEN IN 29 DECEMBER

"The traffic in Tigran Mets Street will be finally opened in 29
December," said Ervand Zakharyan, the mayor of Yerevan in a press
conference, today.
According to him the underground passage in the Freedom avenue
opened the previous day. In two days the other passages constructed
in Baghramyan-Kasyan and Kievyan crossroad and in Baghramyan-Orbeli
crossroad will be ready to be exploited. And the construction carried
out in Vardananc and Khanjyan streets will be finished in three days.
The mayor said that the construction process in
Nalbandyan-Isahakyan-Alek Manukyan streets is not yet over, but the
part in Nalbandyan Street will be opened in 30, December.
According to the mayor 147 buses were imported into Armenia and 50
of them will arrive soon. "There will be 307 working buses in Yerevan
from January 1, and 2 of them suits to the unable," he said. He also
said that 18 trolleybuses are imported and 1 of which is prepared
for the unable.
The mayor also mentioned that the work of metropolitan will be
developed next year. He said that the unfinished construction from
Barekamutyun station to Adjapnyak will be finished during the coming
years; he said that they even plan to build two stations to Komitas
Street. But 50-60 million dollars are needed for those constructions.
