LEGISLATIVE AMENDMENTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO CULTURE
DEVELOPMENT
`This year the ministry of culture has submitted three
bills to the government,' Hasmik Poghosyan, minister
of culture said summing up the year.
In her words, another six decisions were submitted to
the government that will contribute to further
development. `Additions and amendments will be made in
the regulations on evaluating historical monuments,'
Poghosyan said mentioning several other laws relating
to culture where amendments will be made. In her
words, Program Culture 2008-2012 was also submitted to
the government.
The state budget allocated 7 million drams to the
ministry of culture in 2007 and additional funds were
released from the reserve fund.
