EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF ARMENIAN WRESTLING FEDERATION DISQUALIFIES TWO WRESTLERS

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 6, NOYAN TAPAN. The organizers of world wrestling
championships to be held this year in Baku do not guarantee the
security of Armenian sportsmen. This was announced at the February 5
enlarged sitting of Executive Committee of Wrestling Armenian National
Federation. So, for Armenian wrestlers the hope for getting the right
to take part in Beijing-2008 is Europe championship to be held in
2008 and another two rating tournaments.
By the Executive Committee's decision, for their bad behaviour in
the days of RA championship wrestlers Artak Haroutiunian and Gegham
Babakhanian have been disqualified until September.
