WHY IS NUSHIKYAN CONSTRUCTION HALTED?

Kamo Areyan, deputy mayor of Yerevan and Samvel Danielyan, chief
architect, assured today that the construction works of Nushikyan
Association are halted. Only a few days ago, the water pipelines was
damaged because of the construction and residents did not have water
for one day.
Areyan declared that the municipality did not approve any construction
in green zones. It must be reminded that only one month ago 20
big trees were cut in a close-by park to Terian street. Areyan said
Albert Bazeyan, who was managing the city in 2000, is guilty saying he
granted the permission but the construction started only now. Areyan
and Danielyan assured Nushikyan Association complies to norms. Why
did they halt the construction then?
