/PanARMENIAN.Net/ For the first ever time an Armenian historian has
accepted Turkey's thesis of collaborative study. As reported by Sabah
newspaper, Ara Sarafyan, one of the most important historians of the
Armenian Diaspora and the editor of Blue Book accepted the suggestion
of the chairman of the Turkish History Institution, Halacoðlu, to
    carry out a collaborative study.

It's worth noting that Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated
that normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey depends
on governments but not on historians. The Armenian leader underscored
that Armenia is ready for dialogue with Turkey without preconditions.

The Blue Book by British historians Lord James Bryce and Arnold Toynbee
which is formally known as The Treatment of Armenians in the Ottoman
Empire in 1915-1916 is one of the most important written evidence of
    the Armenian Genocide.
