SEMINAR IN YEREVAN

February 22-23 sub-regional seminar organized by the United Nations
Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP)
and RA Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Labor and Social Affairs
will be held in Yerevan. It is dedicated to the creation of incomes,
working out of employment programs, monitoring and evaluation in the
countries of Central Asia and Caucasus.
The seminar will feature RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs
Aghvan Vardanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan, Deputy
Minister of Trade and Economic Development Tigran Davtyan, as well as
official delegations of Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan,
Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The participants will present the systems of creation of incomes,
elaboration of employment programs, monitoring and evaluation in
their countries.
During the discussions reference will be made to the issue of poverty
reduction through creation of incomes and employment programs.
