Belgian Ambassador handed copies of his credentials to Vartan Oskanian

February 22 the newly appointed Ambassador of Belgium Charles Ghislain
(seat in Brussels) handed the copies of his credentials to RA Foreign
Minister Vartan Oskanian.
Greeting the guest, the Foreign Minister wished him success in
carrying out his high mission.
The Minister expressed appreciation for the activation of bilateral
ties between Armenia and Belgium. He noted that Armenia attaches
importance to the establishment of closer cooperation with Belgium
under the Armenia-EU Action Plan through elaboration and
implementation of concrete programs.
The interlocutors touched upon the opportunities for bilateral
cooperation. The Minister highly appreciated the balanced approach of
Belgium towards issues important for our country. The collocutors
also referred to the process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
