AMENDMENTS ENVISAGED IN RA LAW ON SECURITIES MARKET REGULATION
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, NOYAN TAPAN. At the Feruary 22 sitting, the
Armenian government approved the bill on making amendments and
additions to the RA Law on Regulation of the Securities Market. It was
decided to consider the bill as urgent. The bill envisages to allow
brockers, dealers and trust managers of the RA to conduct transcations
with securities of authoritative foreign companies by permitting these
transactions by simplified order. According to the RA Government
Information and PR Department, the decision will promote circulation
of the RA securities, increase interest of potential investors and
develop the securities market of Armenia.
