BEIRUT, JANUARY 16, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. The majority
of the Armenian community of Lebanon is with acting Prime Minister
Siniora and protects the Government. This is said in the January 15
information submitted to Noyan Tapan by the Lebanese Information and
Propaganda Office of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party.
The Social Democrat Hunchakian Party disproves with the mentioned
statement the publications presented during the recent months in the
Armenian press, according to which the Lebanese Armenian community
is against the acting authorities and cooperates with the opposing
"Hezbollah" movement.
