    NO SERIOUS PROGRESSES EXPECTED IN 2007 NEGOTIATIONS FOR NAGORNO

    Stepanakert, January 18. ArmInfo. "Azerbaijan will keep on negotiating
    until Baku-Tbilisi-Jeikhan oil line works. Aliyev's statements are
    aimed at calming his own people. The businessmen, who invested great
    amounts in this project, require stability in the region, NKR
    parliamentarian, a member of "Free Motherland" party, Artur Tovmasyan,
    told the journalists, ArmInfo special correspondent in Stepanakert
    reports.

    He noted that a "great economic potential does not mean that the
    problems should be solved by force". "There are many examples for
    this: not economically strong sides had won in the war of USSR in
    Afghanistan, in the war of the USA in Vietnam , etc", the deputy
    said. In his opinion, no serious progresses are expected in 2007
    negotiation process.
