Bernard Fassier: European Union can not participate in talks on NK
conflict

The European Union can help the process of settlement of Nagorno
Karabakh within New Neighborhood Policy. But this can not be process
of negotiations,' OSCE Mink Group co-chair Bernard Fassier (France)
said, taking a stance on the possibility of the European Union's
direct participation in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh, APA
reports.
Noting that the US, France and Russia try to help the parties for the
peaceful solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework
of OSCE, Bernard Fassier said the EU has other means.
`For example, Neighborhood Policy program allows implementing
concrete projects. The EU can help the settlement of the conflict
only in this way, but can not participate in the process of
negotiations,' he said. /APA/
