Over 100 Congressmen support the Armenian Genocide bill

The number of Congressmen supporting the adoption of the Armenian
Genocide bill in the US Congress exceeds one hundred. Last week about
50 Congressmen joined the supporters. The Armenian Assembly of America
informs that the bill enjoying the support of both countries will be
presented late January.
The bill is he same Resolution 316 presented in the Congress of
previous convocation, which was adopted in the Foreign Relations
Committee of the House of Representatives with an overwhelming majority
of votes. However, the vote during the plenary session was prevented by
ex-Speaker of the House Denis Hustert.
Co-authors of the bill are Congressmen Adam Sciff, Georeg Radanovich,
Co-Chairmen of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Frank
Pallone and Joe Knollenberg.
