AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION UP 1.3 % IN SIX MONTHS
YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS: Armenia's agricultural
production in the first six months of 2007 amounted to
98.3 billion Drams, 1.3 percent up from a year ago.
According to the figures, released by the country's
national statistical service, the growth was due to
increase in production of milk, by 227,000 tons and
meat by 33,000 tons.
Also some 201 million eggs were produced, almost 20
percent up from a year ago.
