The IV International Film Festival Golden Apricot will much affect
Armenian cinema development, juri members of the festival from various
countries think.
In particular, director of the Korean cinema foundation, juri member
An Chon-suk said that festival play a very important part in cinema
industry development in every country. will promote revival of the
Armenian cinema>, - she said and added that she hopes Golden Apricot
will pay short in propagandizing of the Armenian art.
For his part, President of Swiss branch of "Interfilm", Hans Godel,
said about great interest in the Armenian cinema in abroad. "We are
impatiently waiting for the Golden Apricot opening and hope to see many
interesting films of Armenian film directors>, - Godel said and added
he is happy to cooperate with representatives of Armenian Apostolic
Church which will also take part in the work of ecumenical jury.
To note, FIPRESCI will assess the films included in the competition
programme of the Golden Apricot.
