KAZAKHSTAN TO OPEN EMBASSY IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS: Prime minister Serzh Sarkisian received
today Kazakh ambassador to Armenia Ayimdos Bozjigitov. The government
press office quoted Sarkisian as saying that the opening of the
Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia, scheduled for July 12, will become
a new impetus to furthering relations between the two countries.
During the meeting a reference was made to the 25,000-strong Armenian
community in Kazakhstan, described as a great potential for the
reinforcement of Armenian-Kazakh relations.
The two men also spoke about the importance of cooperation between
Armenia and Kazakhstan within international organizations.
