NEITHER RUSSIA NOR U.S. WILL HELP TO OPEN ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER

Armenian-Turkish border, Armenian President Robert Kocharian said in
an interview with SPIEGEL ONLINE.
"Our relations with Turkey are not simple and they are even more
complicated by the facts of our common history. The most reasonable
thing to do would be to resume direct contacts. But there is no light
at the end of the tunnel yet," the Armenian President said.
The Armenian-Turkish border was closed in 1993 over the conflict in
Nagorno Karabakh.
