HAMLET MKHITARIAN TAKES FOURTH PLACE IN LIST OF BEST FOOTBALLERS OF JUNE OF CIS TERRITORY

YEREVAN, JULY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. According to the results of the
survey conducted by the Russian "Sport-Express" sports journal, Hamlet
Mkhitarian (30 points), a half-back of the national representative team
of Armenia, took fourth place in the list of the five best football
players of the CIS and Baltic countries in June. Gevorg Kasparov, his
team-mate and goal-keeper, took seventh place with 11 points. Anatoli
Timoshchuk, the half-back of the representative team of the Ukraine,
was recognized as the best football player with 57 points.
