TWO CANDIDATES TO TAKE PART IN JULY 22 SPECIAL ELECTIONS OF HEAD OF SHENGAVIT COMMUNITY OF YEREVAN

YEREVAN, JULY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. Two of the four candidates registered
in the special elections of the head of the Shengavit community
of Yerevan to be held on July 22 have officialy declared about
their self-rejection. This information was provided to a Noyan
Tapan correspondent by Artashes Hovhannisian, the Chairman of
Constituency Electoral Commission 11. Thus, Gagik Avetian, a member
of the Orinats Yerkir (Country of Law) party, and non-party Robert
Masumian ("Benzin" 'Petrol' Rubo) refused to take part in the further
electoral campaign. Non-party Sargis Hovhannisian ("Cadillac Seroj")
and independent Mushegh Movsisian will continue to compete in the
electoral campaign.
