CELLULAR OPERATOR IN ARMENIA, VIVACELL CJSC ISN'T GOING TO SELL IT'S ASSETS.

Cellular operator in Armenia, VivaCell CJSC isn't going to sell
its assets, - Ralph Yirikian stated this during a press conference
on Thursday, answering journalists' questions on Russian cellular
operators concern to buy VivaCell.
The Director General compared the company with 18 years-old beautiful
girl, who isn't still going to get married and is going to climb up
the ladder. In particular, Sergey Soldatnikov, Director General of
"Megaphone" company has lately expressed such an interest through
mass media, connected with enhancement of the company's availability
in CIS countries. Replying journalists' questions R. Yirikyan also
added that the company isn't going to buy the assets of "ArmenTel"
CJSC (daughter of Russian "Vimpelcom") in case of their possible
sale. The Director General added that from the beginning VivaCell CJSC
entered Armenian mobile communication market to develop the latter,
therefore it is against recurrent monopolization.
