PASHINYAN SAYS AUTHORITIES IN POWER WANT TO HAVE SLAVES

Nikol Pashinyan, member of "Alternative" public-political initiative
believes the Armenian Republican Party (HHK) is going to lose the
presidential elections. Pashinyan said so at Hayeli Club today during
his controversy with HHK member Armen Ashotyan. Unlike Pashinyan,
Ashotyan confidently said: "The Republican party candidate has
quite big chances at the presidential elections." Referring to his
personal contacts with people, Pashinyan said people "hate" Serzh
Sargsyan -Robert Kocharyan couple and concluded that in case of "free
will" a candidate from the authorities will not win the presidential
elections. He also said the authorities in power want to have slaves
instead of citizens of Armenia. Despite of his pessimism that such
"slaves" are many in Armenia, Pashinyan said, "only common candidate
from the opposition can aspire to become a president."
