TEN HOSPITALS TO BE REPAIRED IN ARMENIAN PROVINCES 2007

YEREVAN, July 18. /ARKA/. Ten hospitals are planned to undergo
substantial repair in Armenian provinces in 2007, Armenian Health
Minister Harutyun Kushkyan said Tuesday as met with President
Kocharyan.
Armenian presidential press office reports that issues related to
health sector work were discussed at the meeting. It was discussed
how to improve medical services and make them available for everybody.
Both the president and the minister stressed the necessity of spending
budget means more effective.
Kushkyan presented the results of recent study and said that the
ministry is going to implement a joint program with the World Bank
and this program will be based on the study results.
The healthcare-related legislative changes were discussed as well.
